Israel says it will keep control over part of southern Lebanon after war with Hezbollah ends

Israel's defense minister stated that a buffer zone will be established in southern Lebanon, with Israel maintaining security control up to the Litani River after the conflict with Hezbollah concludes. This measure aims to protect Israeli communities from Hezbollah attacks, and displaced Lebanese residents will be prohibited from returning until northern Israel is secured.
