IRGC (Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps)

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps is a branch of the Iranian Armed Forces distinct from the regular military. The IRGC oversees Iran's ballistic missile program, controls Iran's network of regional proxy forces (the "Axis of Resistance"), and wields significant political and economic power inside Iran. Its external operations arm, the Quds Force, coordinates with allied groups across the Middle East.
