Netanyahu aide Urich charged with leaking classified info with intent to harm state security

An aide to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Ofir Urich, has been indicted for allegedly leaking classified information to the German newspaper Bild in 2024 with the intent to harm state security. Urich is also charged with destroying evidence amid domestic criticism of Netanyahu's government following the October 7th Hamas attacks and the ongoing hostage crisis.
