Israel and Lebanon ink framework deal for minor IDF withdrawal, after 4 days of DC talks

Israel has agreed to withdraw from two areas beyond the south Lebanon buffer zone following four days of talks in Washington D.C., a deal brokered after a US-Iran memorandum of understanding nearly derailed negotiations. Senator Marco Rubio described the agreement as the "beginning of the beginning" of a path toward peace.
