Iran dismisses IAEA resolution, says nonproliferation accusations political
Iran has dismissed a resolution passed by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), which accuses Tehran of failing to comply with its nuclear nonproliferation commitments and refers the matter to the UN Security Council. “Renewed accusations against Iran’s peaceful nuclear program are political and not technical in nature,” Iran's UN ambassador, Gholamhossein Darzi, said in a letter addressed to the Security Council president, IRNA reported.
