War in Middle East: Iran names Khamenei's son Mojtaba as new supreme leader

Iran's Assembly of Experts on Sunday named Mojtaba Khamenei to replace his late father, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, as the country's new supreme leader, more than a week into the country's war with the United States and Israel. US President Donald Trump had earlier warned that a successor to Khamenei would not "last long” without his approval.
