Ukraine becomes one of world's main targets for cyberattacks – Microsoft report

Ukraine ranks third globally and first in Europe for cyberattacks, accounting for 4.8% of all recorded incidents in the first half of 2026, according to a Microsoft report. Russian state hackers targeted Ukraine most frequently after the United States, with public sector institutions and phishing attacks showing significant increases.
