Trump: ‘No more attacks’ by Israel on Iran’s South Pars gas field

(Al Jazeera English) Donald Trump has condemned Israel’s strike on Iran’s South Pars gas field, saying it triggered Tehran’s retaliatory attacks on energy sites across the Gulf. In a statement on Truth Social, he insisted the US “knew nothing” about the raid and that Qatar “was in no way, shape, or form, involved”, adding that Iran “unjustifiably and unfairly” hit part of Qatar’s LNG facility in response, and declaring that “no more attacks will be made by Israel” on the South Pars field.
