Syria denies that it met Hezbollah in Turkey
Syria has denied a report from Reuters claiming that its representatives met Hezbollah for face-to-face talks in Turkey last month. The Reuters report, which cited six sources briefed on events, said that the meeting took place at the invitation of Turkish intelligence agencies in an effort to de-escalate simmering tensions between Syria and the Lebanese paramilitary and political group.
