Say bye-bye to bitter herbs: Israeli researchers’ work aims to pass over tart tastes

Scientists at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem have compiled a compendium of 2,200 bitter molecules and researched the TAS2R14 bitter receptor. This work aims to improve the palatability of medicines and potentially treat lung diseases by understanding and manipulating bitter taste perception.
