Russian attack on World Heritage sites in Ukrainian city of Lviv causes uproar

During a large-scale Russian attack on March 23-24, Lviv's historic center, a UNESCO World Heritage site, was struck by drones, damaging St. Andrew's Church and an adjacent archive building. Ukraine's Culture Ministry is documenting the damage to cultural sites and working with international partners, including UNESCO, to hold Russia accountable for targeting cultural heritage.
