Roman Abramovich takes Jersey to European human rights court over criminal investigation

Roman Abramovich has filed a claim with the European Court of Human Rights, alleging that Jersey's criminal investigation into his finances violates his human rights. The former Chelsea FC owner, sanctioned by the UK, claims the investigation into alleged corruption and money laundering, which has frozen £5.3bn of his assets, is unfair and abusive.
