'Rogue state behaviour': Israel carrying out covert influence operations in Canada, report says

Canadians for Justice and Peace in the Middle East (CJPME) released a report on Wednesday alleging that Israel is conducting covert influence operations in Canada, including undisclosed polling after October 7, 2023, legal interventions on settlement labeling, all-expense-paid political delegations, fake social media accounts, and surveillance of pro-Palestinian activists. CJPME called on the Canadian government to expel Israeli diplomats, designate Israel as a "key threat actor," and ban Israeli spyware, citing what it describes as "rogue state behaviour" conducted without accountability.
