Report : Israel to strike Hezbollah drone production deep in Lebanon

EVENT SUMMARY

Israeli army chief Eyal Zamir has instructed the Northern Command and Israel Air Force to strike Hezbollah's FPV drone production and supply chain deep inside Lebanon, according to Yedioth Ahronoth, potentially marking the first Israeli strikes in Beirut or its southern suburbs since the ceasefire took effect. Hezbollah's fiber-optic-guided drones, which killed an Israeli soldier in southern Lebanon and injured at least a dozen others in northern Israel on Thursday, present a novel threat that Israeli air defenses have struggled to intercept due to their small size and low flight profile.
