Public to be told how to prepare for cyber - attack and weather emergencies

The UK government announced plans for a public awareness campaign later this year to prepare citizens for potential food or water shortages due to cyber-attacks or severe weather. Next year, the UK will conduct its largest home defence exercise in decades, Operation Albiston Shadow, to test responses to hybrid attacks and update classified crisis plans.
