Protesters gather for Palestine march in central London
Pro-Palestine demonstrators gathered at Embankment to begin their march through central London at noon on Saturday, with several thousand expected to join the protest organised by the Palestine Coalition, which marks three years since the start of Israel's genocide in Gaza. The Metropolitan police have imposed restrictions on the event - including threatening to arrest anyone who refuses to remove a mask - anticipating that between 7,000 and 10,000 people will attend the march.
