Pregnant Palestinian detainee faces harsh conditions in Israeli prison
The Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs said a pregnant Palestinian detainee is enduring harsh health, humanitarian, and psychological conditions in Israel’s Damon prison. In a report, the commission said Abu Khdeijeh has been detained since 27 August 2026, when she was subjected to a harsh arrest in which she was blindfolded and her hands were tightly bound with plastic restraints, causing them to swell.
