Missile that left crater deep inside Poland was probably Russian - Polish PM

What Happened

An object, believed to be a Russian Kh-101 cruise missile, crashed into a field near Tarnawa Kolonia, Poland, about 92 kilometres from the Ukrainian border, in the early morning of Thursday. The impact left a crater 10 metres wide. Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk stated that, according to military experts, recovered fragments 'point to it being a Russian Kh-101 missile.' The incursion occurred around 03:40 local time during a large-scale Russian airstrike on the Ukrainian cities of Lviv, Kyiv, and near Kryvyi Rih. A Polish F-16 fighter jet was scrambled but lost radar contact; no casualties were reported. Ukraine's Acting Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha also claimed a Russian Kh-101 had violated NATO airspace.
