Israel says 1, 318 personnel killed since 7 Oct Hamas attack
Israeli defence ministry has said that a total of 1,318 Israeli personnel have been killed since Hamas’s 7 October 2023 attack. The figures include all soldiers, police officers, Shin Bet agents, firefighters, prison warders, and civilian officers who died on and since 7 October 2023, whether in "the line of duty or as a result of an accident, illness, or suicide", according to the Times of Israel.
