Iran deal's final draft includes ban on producing, acquiring nuclear weapons, official confirms

A senior Iranian official confirmed to Reuters that a draft memorandum of understanding with the US includes Iran agreeing not to produce or acquire nuclear weapons, with highly enriched uranium to be diluted inside Iran. The deal, facilitated by Qatari mediators, also involves the US waiving oil sanctions, reopening the Strait of Hormuz, and releasing $25 billion of frozen Iranian assets, pending final agreement within 60 days.
