Iran to require IRGC permission for vessels passing through Strait of Hormuz

Iran will require all vessels passing through the Strait of Hormuz to obtain IRGC permission, according to an Al Jazeera report of an address by an Iranian military official. According to the report, another Iranian official also stated that commercial vessels will be giving permission to pass, while naval vessels would be denied.
