IDF , US ran covert rescue operations from Iraq during Iran war

The Israeli Defense Forces established a covert rescue team in Iraq during recent operations against Iran, with IDF special forces positioned to extract any downed pilots, according to disclosures by The Jerusalem Post on April 6 following reports by The Wall Street Journal and Qatari media. No Israeli pilots were ultimately shot down, and the operation involved unprecedented direct coordination between Israeli and U.S. Air Force units, including refueling over Iraqi airspace, though the Iraqi government publicly objected to the Israeli presence once disclosed.
