IDF : Building bomb shelters for entire country will take 30 years

The IDF Home Front stated on Thursday that it will take over 30 years to provide nationwide safe rooms, with only 67% of the population currently protected. Even an ambitious scenario of a 3% annual increase in safe spaces would leave large parts of the country vulnerable for at least 11 years, as no large-scale emergency build program is currently being considered.
