'Most massive' Russian attack on Kyiv kills at least 20

In the early hours of Thursday, Russian forces conducted a large-scale missile and drone strike on Kyiv, killing 13 people and injuring more than 30, according to Ukraine's state emergency service. Ukraine's air force reported that Russia launched 74 missiles and 496 drones, primarily targeting the capital; it said air defences intercepted most, but 25 ballistic missiles and 12 drones struck 33 locations, causing fires and damage to residential buildings, a hotel, and an ambulance station.
