Muslim worshippers are now able to enter Al-Aqsa mosque, following Israel's lifting of its weeks-long restrictions on the holy site. Israeli authorities barred Muslim Palestinians from accessing the area in occupied East Jerusalem since 28 February, marking a total closure of one of Islam’s holiest sites not seen since the start of the occupation in 1967.
