About 454,000 registered as displaced in Lebanon, minister says Lebanon’s social affairs minister, Haneen Sayed, has announced that approximately 454,000 Lebanese people have registered as displaced. "Today, we inspected the preparations at the Sports City in Beirut, and thanks to the great efforts of associations, the Red Cross, and the Beirut Municipality, it will be opened tonight as a shelter for families registered with the Red Cross," Sayed said.
