Myanmar's military junta has advanced south of Indaw, displacing thousands of civilians since intensifying efforts to retake the area late last month. Resistance forces have been pushed back as the State Administration Council seeks to regain control of territory previously lost to ethnic armed organizations and People's Defense Forces.
