How a son rescued his father from the rubble of Venezuela’s earthquakes

On June 24, a 7.2-magnitude earthquake collapsed the Ritasol Palace in La Guaira, Venezuela, trapping Jose Garcia and his two young sons in the basement rubble. Over 20 hours later, on June 25, Jose's eldest son, Jesus Garcia, a former firefighter, coordinated with a police squad and his old colleagues to rescue his father and brothers from the debris.
